On July 15, 2017, after several years of work spearheaded by local aviation historian Dr. Robert Galway (and supported by the Toronto Chapter of the CAHS), a special plaque is unveiled at what is now Harding Park in Toronto’s north-west end, to mark the historic location of the city’s very first airfield, and to commemorate the important role this site continued to play in Toronto’s aerial history during the decades that followed.
